Some food for thought.

1. Stop hiding who you really are.
2. Start being intensively selfish (personally I think selfishness in moderation may perhaps not be such a bad thing if the goal is positive)
3. Stop following the rules.
4. Start scaring yourself.
5. Stop taking it all so damn seriously (this one applies directly to me)
6. Start getting rid of the crap.
7. Stop being busy.
8. Start something.

Miyazaki love!

I love all things Miyazaki or studio Ghibli, and since I have not gotten the time to create something new, I will post pictures of cuties made some time ago.

Let's start with Totoro!

A great friend of mine, to whom I proudly introduced to the genius of Miyazaki, made me this adorable origami Totoro.

So I made this canvas bag for her for her birthday. I bought about a yard of black canvas, and with some black, white, and green acrylics made this come to life. I feel so proud every time she uses her Tototo Tote!
